Background Colour

This option allows you to define a new background colour for the map. Press the Background Colour… button, select a colour from the palette and press OK. To clear the background colour (i.e. to return to having no background colour), press the Background Colour… button and then press Clear.

The background colour will be saved in the project file so that it will be applied when you re-open the project. It is also used as the background colour for the output map.

The background colour will not be affected should you load a new colour palette, since it is stored within MapLink Pro as an absolute RGB value rather than by reference to a specific palette.
