Choose the Layer Loading Strategy

The Loading Strategy of a Map defines the rules used to decide which layer should be chosen to be displayed for a given view area.

MapLink Pro Studio currently supports two strategies.

Data Reduction Filtering is applied to a completed Layer of data.

Both strategies allow the selection of an Overlap Factor.

The operation of the Loading Strategy can be described as follows:

Find all layers in the map which satisfy the Overlap Factor condition
Feed the results of this search into the Loading Strategy
The Loading Strategy will pick one layer from the selection which needs to be displayed
Display the chosen layer
