Introduction

The Loading Strategy of a Map defines the rules used to decide which layer should be chosen to be displayed for a given view area.

MapLink Pro Studio currently supports two strategies.

• Tile Based Loading Strategy
• Resolution Based Loading Strategy

Both strategies allow the selection of an Overlap Factor.

The operation of the Loading Strategy can be described as follows:

• Find all layers in the map which satisfy the Overlap Factor condition
• Feed the results of this search into the Loading Strategy
• The Loading Strategy will pick one layer from the selection which needs to be displayed
• Display the chosen layer
