MrSID

Multiresolution seamless image database (MrSID) is a wavelet based compression format used for aerial photographs and satellite imagery. This technique achieves a very high compression ratio for raster.

Support for this format is provided via GDAL.

The end user has to install the DLLs obtained from LizardTech as Envitia is not permitted to ship the DLLs with MapLink Pro Studio. Installation instructions can be found here.

To load the data select the '*.sid' files.
