Slope Algorithm
Slope Algorithms work by analysing the neighbours of a cell and attempting to determine the rate of change of altitude in different directions and then combining them to get an average for the cell. MapLink Pro Studio currently supports the following algorithms:
- Zevenbergen (recommended for flatter or uneven lowland terrain surfaces)
- Horn (recommended for mountainous terrain surfaces)
- Legacy algorithm (a three neighbour method)
