Thumbnail raster view

It is often unnecessary to see the full resolution image on screen when developing a map, and indeed it may not be practical to do so, either due to memory restrictions or frequent changing of coordinate system information requiring re-projection.

You may simply need an impression of what the layer will look like. Enabling the thumbnail raster view check box will automatically reduce the resolution of all rasters displayed in MapLink Pro whilst developing the map. This results in a lower memory overhead and faster re-projection.

The thumbnail raster view option is automatically disabled whilst creating an output map.
